Need a Visa or eTA?
Visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and foreign nationals with a valid visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, are not eligible to apply for an eTA and need to travel with a valid Canadian passport.

All travelers must present acceptable travel documents and identification must be presented at the border. We strongly suggest that you begin the process as soon as possible to avoid delays.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa or an eTA. You can request a Visa letter during the registration process. The organizers will not provide financial support. Please check with the Canadian embassy or consulate for the specific requirements for your
country.
How can you get an Invitation Letter for Visa Application?
For all attendees needing a Visa to travel to Canada, we will provide an invitation letter. To receive your Invitation letter, you must register and fill the required information. After receiving the full payment of your registration, we will forward you a copy of the letter, including the special event code you will need to apply.
- This letter will not automatically grant you a Visa.
- This letter will only help to facilitate the application process.
- Your application will need to go through the same scrutiny as any application.
Special Event Codes
The 2nd International Conference on Business, Health and Climate has been registered with The Special Events Unit of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If you require a visa we strongly advise that after registering for this event you request a “letter of invitation” to the Conference. The letter of invitation will contain The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’ Special Event Code for the event. The “letter of invitation” will facilitate your entry into Canada and the processing of visa applications.
The Special Events Unit of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Canadian Border Services Agency will have access to a copy of the format of the letter of invitation. The “letter of invitation” will also facilitate the processing of your visa applications.
Please note that following the The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada policy, an invitation letter as well as the letter of recognition will only be issued to registered delegates who have confirmed their place in the conference, by paying the registration fee.
As soon as you receive your application number, please email it back to us at registration@iccpc.ca
This will allow us to submit a valid attendees list to the immigration services to help them find our guests’ names. This is not an automatic acceptance. You are responsible for submitting all the proper documentation for analysis. This process will help to accelerate the process.
