Visa & invitation letter

Need a visa to attend? Here is exactly how the invitation letter works

For all attendees needing a visa to travel to Canada, we provide a conference invitation letter.

1

Register and fill in the required information.

2

Receive your letter. Once we receive your full registration payment, we email you a copy of the letter, including the special event code you need to apply.

3

Apply for your visa or eTA using the letter and event code.

4

Send us your application number at registration@iccpc.ca so we can include your name on the attendee list we submit to immigration services.

Please note
  • The letter does not automatically grant a visa. It helps facilitate the application process.
  • Your application goes through the same scrutiny as any other, and you are responsible for submitting all the proper documentation.

Common questions

Will I receive an invitation letter?

Yes. All attendees who need a visa to travel to Canada receive a conference invitation letter after registering and filling in the required information.

When will I receive the letter?

After we receive your full registration payment, we email you a copy of the letter together with the special event code you need for your application.

Does the letter guarantee my visa?

No. The letter supports your application, but the decision is made by the immigration authorities and your application goes through the same review as any other.

What should I do after I apply?

As soon as you receive your application number, email it to registration@iccpc.ca. This lets us submit a valid attendee list to immigration services so they can find your name.

What if I am unable to travel to Montreal?

Every pass includes both venue and online access, so you can still take part online.
