Welcome to the 2024 International Conference on Climate Change and Health (2024 ICCCH), a pioneering gathering that addresses the critical intersection of climate change and public health. As the 2024 edition of this event, we aim to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and actionable solutions to mitigate the profound impact of climate change on global health.

Call for Proposals: Presentations, Workshops, and Panel Discussions

We are delighted to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2nd International Conference on Business, Health, and Climate, scheduled to take place at the Quebec City Convention Center from April 23 to 25, 2025. As we aim to create a dynamic and engaging program, we invite submissions for presentations, workshops, and panel discussions that explore the intersection of business, health, and climate.

Presentation Proposals:

Do you have expertise in a specific area related to business, health, or climate? We invite you to share your insights, research findings, and best practices through a presentation at our conference. Presentations should be informative, engaging, and relevant to the themes of the event. Presenters are free to propose topics that have a relevant connection to the conference theme. Topics may include but are not limited to:

  • Sustainable business practices
  • Health impacts of climate change
  • Corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship
  • Strategies for addressing climate-related health challenges

Workshop Proposals:

Are you passionate about facilitating interactive learning experiences? We are seeking workshop proposals that provide participants with practical skills, tools, and strategies to address the complex challenges of business, health, and climate change. Workshops should be designed to engage participants through hands-on activities and collaborative learning. Presenters are encouraged to propose topics that have a relevant connection to the conference theme. Possible workshop topics include:

  • Climate resilience and adaptation strategies

  • Green business innovation

  • Promoting health equity in a changing climate

  • Building community resilience through collaborative action

Panel Discussion Proposals:

Do you enjoy exploring diverse perspectives and fostering meaningful dialogue? We encourage submissions for panel discussions that bring together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss pressing issues at the intersection of business, health, and climate. Panel discussions should encourage debate, exchange of ideas, and audience participation. Presenters are welcome to propose topics that have a relevant connection to the conference theme. Potential panel topics include:

  • Public-private partnerships for climate action
  • Investing in sustainable health infrastructure
  • Policy approaches to addressing climate-related health disparities
  • Business opportunities in the transition to a low-carbon economy

Submission Guidelines:

  • Proposal submissions should include a detailed overview, objectives, intended audience, format, and proposed speakers or panelists (if applicable).
  • Please specify any audiovisual or technical requirements for your presentation or workshop.
  • Presenters and workshop facilitators must be registered to attend the conference in-person.
  • Proposals should be submitted by December 31, 2024, via email to papers@iccpc.ca
  • Clearly indicate the relevance of your proposal to the conference theme and objectives.

Selection Process:

All proposals will be reviewed by our selection committee based on their relevance, originality, clarity, and potential to contribute to the conference program. Selected presenters, workshop facilitators, and panelists will be notified by January 31, 2025 and provided with further instructions.
